Life Skills Coach – Simple Steps LLC Join us as a Life Skills Coach in Rustburg, VA, helping Veterans with neurological disorders, physical disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries by delivering high‑quality home and community services. Position: Part‑time, up to 7.5 hours per week with potential for increased hours. Location: Rustburg, VA. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Travel to current or prospective clients’ homes. Transport client(s) during visits. Maintain reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and agency‑required auto liability insurance (100k/300k Bodily Injury). Communicate with health professionals, clients, families, and the public through verbal and written communication. Use a private laptop or desktop for HIPAA‑compliant documentation. Track SMART goals and progress using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Reader. Implement patient care plans through home and community goal‑related activities. Work independently and manage time for oneself and client(s). Specific Duties May Include Attending community and outdoor activities. Assisting with organization planning, cognitive awareness, doctor’s appointments, household management, etc. Driving clients. Lifting up to 50 lbs. Walking.
