Transportation Safety And Driver Manager Company Overview: Quality Liquid Feeds is a leading player in the agricultural industry, dedicated to innovation. We are looking for a Transportation Safety & Driver Manager that has a passion for safety, compliance, and leading people. Description: Travel: 30% of the time Position Summary : The Transportation Safety & Driver Manager will oversee our team of drivers and ensure top tier safety, training, and DOT compliance. Key Responsibilities : Recruit, hire, train, and review drivers to build a strong, safety-first culture. Develop and manage driver safety programs, quarterly trainings, driver manuals, and SOPs. Monitor driver logs, qualifications, CSA scores, and FMCSA requirements to keep QLF drivers running safely and efficiently. Oversee accident reporting, spill tracking to ensure quick resolution and minimize risk Work closely with dispatch, maintenance, HR, and sales to solve issues and improve operations. Monitor changing DOT and FMCSA regulations, ensuring drivers and the company remain compliant. Approximately 30% of time spent traveling to manufacturing locations meeting with drivers. Requirements : Qualifications: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations. Experience recruiting, training, and managing drivers. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a team environment and handle after-hours calls. Able to pass required physical, drug, and alcohol testing.
